We are packing awaiting the SAGA taxi due at 1.40pm. Our flight is due to leave at 7am Monday September 11th 2023, so we are staying a night at the Premier Inn at Gatwick North.

This collage sums up the holiday. Overall, it was more mountainous than we expected. Despite the rugged limestone cliffs and mountains, there were lots of trees.

Holiday friends

For every evening meal we ate with some great people from Wales, Suffolk and Cornwall shown in the photo. They were a very nice group and we much enjoyed their company and humour.

Wednesday Tivat and very winding mountain road

- September 13, 2023

After a good breakfast, this morning was in Porto Montenegro (Tivat) and then up a torturous mountain road with 25 hairpin bends and some spectacular views. Simple lunch of local ham and cheese at rural restaurant. Afterwards we went to Cetinje, which was the ancient capital city. The modern capital is Podgorica.
